The USS Vimy Ridge is a play by email canon Star Trek simulation where the members of the ship write logs each week.

Joining a sim means accepting the logging policies and knowing if you have time or not. All new simmers (unless command is contacted and there's a good reason) will need to post a log within 2 weeks of joining or they will be automatically removed. Simmers are, of course, welcome to re-apply for a position should things clear up but the same 2 week policy will apply.
